Being this was our first river cruise we were nervous about planning it from start to finish. We had plenty of advice from friends and family but we still thought a professional cruise planner was the way to go. And we didn't go wrong with our decision. We used AMA Waterways for the Romantic Danube River cruise which after weighing the differences between them and two other major cruise lines we made the right choise. It was a fun and relaxing time with great choices for excursions, easy and somewhat difficult. Janellen was there for us from beginning to end, and with all the answers to the detailed questions we had along the way. We were very comfortable with the assistance we got from her. I strongly recommend using Cruise Planners for your next cruise.

We needed bullet train tickets for our trip after our cruise from Yokohama, Japan to Kyoto, Japan. Bob spent at least 6 weeks corresponding with the train company since the reserved tickets can only be purchased a month in advance and we would be traveling. Bob was coordinating with our hotel concierge in Hong Kong to make sure the tickets would arrive in a timely manner and we would receive them upon arrival. When Bob realized they were accidently sent to the US and not to the agreed hotel, he made sure they were reissued. There would have been no way for me to ever figure out how to get those train tickets. His dedication in this matter and all his suggestions and assistance with our cruises, flights, tours, etc. made our 6 week trip extremely memorable and free of drama.
